Consistent Work + Consistent Focus

T2 Aquatics had an awesome meet last weekend with about 60 swimmers in attendance. Another 95 are preparing for a meet this weekend. Many swimmers last weekend had breakthroughs. Some were with personal best times while others made big strides in their meet preparation and "big meet" attitude. These attitude developments are a large part of what we are doing at T2 Aquatics. Helping T2 swimmers become confident, high performing athletes.

Many of our younger (and not so experienced) T2 swimmers are "getting it" and "getting it" in a big way. Cheering and supporting your teammates. Learning that wearing sweatshirts, parkas, pants, socks, shoes (not flip flops!). Being aggressive and racing tough. Learning that those "racing skills" that we talk about so often are differences between 1st and 2nd. 8th and 9th. 2nd and 1st. 9th and 8th. The difference between getting that AAA time..... or not.

Some swimmers tried to tell me this weekend that Balloons make you swim fast..... Oh, that couldn't be further from the truth!

Consistent Work and Focus are what really make you swim fast!

Remember: The work and focus that you put into it at practice changes your outlook at the competitions.

What can you work more at? What can you focus more on?
